Welcome. This is a first-person explanation of what to expect at Dreamforce this year.

Getting ready for Dreamforce

I can learn about Dreamforce and register on the event’s official website.

I can read additional detail in the event FAQ.

Information about accommodations for people with disabilities and medical conditions is in the Accessibility section of the FAQ.

If I need to request an accommodation for a disability or medical condition, I can do that when registering. If I have already registered, I can log in and edit my response at this link.

I can also email DisabilityHelpDesk@Salesforce.com if I have any questions.

Arriving at and leaving Dreamforce

I am going to Dreamforce at Moscone Center in San Francisco. The Dreamforce campus spans across several buildings across four blocks and 87 acres in the South of Market neighborhood.

The event is at Moscone Convention Center. The address is 747 Howard Street, San Francisco, 94103.

The event runs over three days from September 17–19, 2024.

On my first day, I should arrive around 8:00 a.m. PT so I can check into the event and start my day.

The event finishes at 5:00 p.m. PT.

This is what I can expect at Dreamforce.

I can find all Dreamforce information in the Salesforce event app, which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play

When I have registered for the event, I can access information like the event agenda, campus map, food and beverage, and much more in the app.

If my hotel has shuttle service, a large sign in the hotel lobby will show me the shuttle hours and pickup location. I can also find shuttle times under General Information in the event app.

If I need a shuttle for any kind of disability, I can call or email the shuttle team to schedule a ride during shuttle hours. I need to call at least one hour in advance to allow enough time for the shuttle to arrive.

When I arrive on the first day, I will go to Moscone West to pick up my badge. The area may be crowded and I can ask for support from any ambassador if I don’t want to stand or wait in a long line.

I can also ask any staffer with a sign that says Disability Help Desk.

When I’m entering a building, I will need to go through the security scanning process. This may include weapons detection screening and bag checks.

Small and large suitcases are not permitted into the event, but I can use coat check facilities to store these if I need. The coat check is located next to the badge pickup area in Moscone West, and is free of charge.

Badge Pickup Hours and Location: Moscone West (Level 1)

* Mon, 9/16: 11:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.

* Tues, 9/17 6:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m.

* Wed, 9/18: 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

* Thur, 9/19: 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

If I need accessible badge pickup, I can go to the low-height counters or ask any ambassador for help at Moscone West.

Accessibility provisions are available to make my Dreamforce journey more comfortable. I can find detailed information in the Accessibility section in the Salesforce Event app (under Event Details).

If I need support with accessibility provisions, I can ask the Disability Help Desk in the Moscone West lobby during badge pickup hours.

The main keynote starts at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. There will be a long line before the doors open at 9:00, so I should try to arrive at least by 8:00.

If I need an accessible entrance, I can ask the security team at the hall doors to let me in through the accessible entrance.

I can also ask any ambassador with an Accessible Seating sign for help.

Accessible seating is available for me and anyone who needs it. All sessions, including keynotes and theaters, will have seats prioritized for those needing accommodations.

I can ask the room ambassador for a seat in the accessible area if there is one open.

I can use MazeMaps to get directions to a particular location. MazeMaps is a wayfinding tool in the event app that will give me step-by-step directions to a point of interest.

MazeMap also offers text-to-speech mode by reading aloud the directions once the map is generated.

I may need to travel long distances during the day, so I need to allow myself plenty of time to get to my destination.

Sessions are held in various rooms that could be in different buildings.

I should be prepared for a significant amount of walking or rolling throughout the day. Heavy crowds and congested areas could also slow down my travel.

During the event, there might be big screens, bright lights, loud noises, or music. If it becomes too much, I can go to the Quiet Zone to decompress.

I can find the two Quiet Zone locations in the Accessibility section of the event app (under Event Details).

I can get morning coffee and a light continental breakfast, a lunch and afternoon snack every day. Signage and ambassadors will point me in the right direction to pick up my food.

I can find all meal information in the Food & Beverage Section in the event app under Event Details.

Water stations will be placed throughout the venue if I want to fill up my water bottle.

I can find a restroom on each level in every building. All bathrooms at Moscone Center have an accessible stall if I need it.

There is signage to help me find the restrooms, and I can also ask any ambassador where the closest restroom is.

I can ask any ambassador on campus for help!

They are happy to assist and can answer questions and give directions.

I can head back to my hotel room. It might be crowded when I leave, so I should be ready to wait in a large crowd.

If I'm using transportation, I will go to Howard Street. There will be signs to guide me to the shuttle buses and rideshare pickup areas.

We look forward to seeing you in San Francisco.

To our guests:
Dreamforce represents our grand family gathering sprawling across numerous streets and buildings. It’s important to us to be completely open about the potential barriers for individuals with disabilities or medical needs due to the distance between venues and sessions, as well as the possibility of extensive walking or navigating through crowds.

For individuals with disabilities and/or medical conditions, whether you are recovering from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries, we are dedicated to ensuring your experience is as comfortable and accessible as possible. Please specify any accommodations you may require on the registration form, and a member of our team will personally reach out to gather more details and ensure we can accommodate your needs. We ask that you provide accommodation requests at least two weeks in advance.

If you’re uncertain whether you’ll need support during Dreamforce, reach out to our Disability Help Desk at least two weeks prior to the event to chat with a dedicated accessibility manager. We can answer questions, provide information, and assist you in determining if further accommodations are necessary. Questions? Email us at DisabilityHelpDesk@Salesforce.com.
